* ADDING A SERVER *
To add a new server you first need to click on the "Server CP" link which will
appear on the top navigation menu once you are logged in.

You should see the screen above, next you need to click on the "New Server"
button.

You should see the screen above, you now enter a temporary name for the server
as well as the IP Address and INFO/UDP Port (usually 2005) of the server.

Similar to the screen above, now click the "Add" button.

You should see the screen above, unless you had an error. If you click on
"Server CP" you will see your server listed, similar to the screen below.
You can now view your server on the main listing page (click on "Home"). Similar
to the screen below.
Be sure to include the mod you are running in the server name in your options.cfg file. ex My Race Server (COTG2)

Assuming you server is configured correctly, it will begin to update within 60
seconds...
* UPDATING OR DELETING A SERVER *
To update a server click on "Server CP" which will be displayed on the top
navigation area when you are logged in.

You should see a screen similar to the one above, now click on the edit button
next to the server you wish to update.

You should see a screen similar to the one above, you may now change the IP
Address or INFO Port of your server. Once you are done updating the values click
on the "Update" button. You may also delete your server from this page by
clicking on the "Delete" button.


You will see one of the screens above.
* BASICS OF THE SERVER LIST *
To view the server list you need to click on the "Home" link from the top
navigation section of the website.

You should see the screen above, current data from the servers is displayed and
automatically updated every 30 to 60 seconds while you are on the server
listing. You may also view extended details of each server by clicking on the
green circle i link to the right of each server line.

You should see the screen above, this is all of the data available from the
selected server.
* SETUP A DEDICATED SERVER *
So you want to create a dedicated server? Well to begin you need to decide which
mod you will be running. Once you have decided, you need to locate the
"options.cfg" file in the folder of the mod you will be running.

Similar to the screen above, open the file using Notepad or any other text
editor.

You can now compare configuration from the picture above to your own options.cfg
file. Some of the key lines in the text are...
srv_info_port 2005
srv_info_local_only no
port 2001
These will enable your server to be detected by HeatFinder once you add it using
the "Server CP" on this website.
You can now locate your NASCAR Heat folder.

Locate you NHeat.exe file, right click on it and select "Create Shortcut". Now
right click on that shortcut and click on "Properties".

You will not see a screen similar to the one above, be sure you are on the
"Shortcut" tab. In the "Target" box add to the end "-dedicated" as well as "-mod:youmodhere"
if you will be running a mod. You can use the example screen above. You can now
click on "Apply" and "OK" to save the changes. (Vista users may need to confirm
some security authorizations through the process.) To start the server you
simply double click on the new shortcut you just made.

You should see a CMD box similar to the one above, verify your INFO Port &
server name to add to HeatFinder if you would like it to be displayed. You may
also need to allow your Heat ports through any firewalls & routers... Under
default configuration the ports are 2001 TCP and 2005 UDP.
Congratulations! Your Done!
* USING MINI ON YOUR WEBSITE *
To use or access the Mini HeatFinder for use on your website you must go to the Server CP page as shown in the picture below. If you do not own any servers you cannot use this feature only the server owner has access. You then select the "Mini Code" button.

Once on the page displayed in the picture below you can copy & paste the code directly into the code of your webpage.
